Preparing for Emergencies

The Cleveland area provides a great place to live and work but with distinctive features that require careful planning, such as a wide range of Industry and one of the largest shipping ports in the country. The area is rich and diverse; however the very features that make Cleveland so special also present the emergency planning community with a challenge; how to plan and Prepare for Emergencies.

On the back of this the Cleveland Emergency Planning Unit has produced a Public Information card in conjunction with emergency responders to explain what to do in order to Prepare for Emergencies. This credit card size information card will be delivered in May to every household in Cleveland to warn and inform the public and give advice and contacts for them in the event of an emergency.

If you do not receive your card through the post in May or would like any further information please visit Cleveland Emergency Planning Unit at www.clevelandemergencyplanning.info or call us on 01642 232442.

Below is the information contained on the public information card.
