With effect from 1 February 2011, anyone submitting a planning application will need to check the local validation list, in addition to the existing national list, to ensure that all supporting documentation is submitted with their application. Applications that do not have all the required information will be considered invalid.
The local list informs applicants/agents of the requirements for planning applications submitted within the area covered by the Local Planning Authority.
The Council has consulted all interested parties on the local list prior to formal resolution. The local list was formally adopted on 6 January 2011.
