Grants for the arts are for individuals, arts organisations and other people who use the arts in their work. They are for activities that benefit people in England or that help artists and arts organisations from England to carry out their work.
Arts Council also has a free funder finder resource in their Newcastle office that the public can use.

Northern Cultural Skills Partnership support people working, or aspiring to work in the cultural sector (architecture, crafts, media, performing visual and literary arts, design, participatory arts, museums libraries and archives, heritage and traditional skills occupations) in the North East region to develop their skills in order to progress their careers'. They are a first point of call for anyone wanting information about skills in the cultural sector in the region.

The Arts Award supports young people to develop as artists and arts leaders and is available throughout England. The Arts Award is a nationally recognised qualification at three levels - Bronze, Silver and Gold. Young people with support from their advisers can also apply for small grants, or advisers can apply on behalf of a group of young people they are working with.

The Foundation is a grant-making organisation which concentrates its support on education, the arts, museum and gallery education, cultural leadership training, health and social care and enhancing Jewish life, whilst placing a particular emphasis on supporting children, young people and society's more vulnerable individuals.

Mediabox offers three different types of grants ranging from £1000 to £40,000 to create and distribute youth-led media projects that express young people's ideas and/or views in a creative way, using their preferred media platform.

Awards for All England is supported by the Arts Council England, the Big Lottery Fund, the Heritage Lottery Fund and Sport England. They award grants of between £300 and £10,000 for people to take part in art, sport, heritage and community activities, and projects that promote education, the environment and health in the local community.
