Step into Coaching Community Sports Leaders Award Level 2

TAKE THE FIRST STEP TO BECOME A SPORTS COACH WITH THE LEVEL 2 COMMUNITY SPORTS LEADERSHIP AWARD Age 16 + 3 Hours per week, 10 weeks (+10 hours volunteering) Cost £25.00 (without T-shirt) £30 (including T-shirt) per person Next course: Tuesday 3rd April 5.30pm - 8.30pm, Eston Sports Academy, Eston, TS6 9AE The Level 2 Award in Community Sports Leadership is a nationally recognised qualification that enables successful candidates to independently lead small groups of people in sport and recreational activities. This course also includes a Emergancy First Aid Course which all participants must complete. The qualification teaches generic leadership skills such as organisation, planning, communication and teamwork through the medium of sport. It is a fun and practical qualification with no entrance requirements or final examinations to sit.

Sports Development Team have organised some Back to Netball sessions with Grnagetown Netball Club. Sessions Start Monday 23rd April 2012 8pm - 9pm at Grangetown Youth Centre. Sportivate Scuba Diving Sessions
Sports Development Team have recruited Cleveland Divers to deliver 6 weeks of Scuba Diving sessions for anyone aged 16-25 years of age. Sessions are delivered by qualified BASC Diving Instructors. Sessions are open to all abilities, all diving equipment will be provided and demostrated how to use. Participants must be able to swim a minimum of 25 metres. No experience required.
