The Local Development Framework (LDF) is a series of planning documents setting out the Council's policies and proposals for the period up to 2021. A number of documents have already been adopted by the Council and other documents are in progress. Further information is available be clicking the links below. Copies of the documents are also available to view in libraries and Council offices in Guisborough, Redcar and the Town Hall in South Bank.

• Adopted Development Plan - consists of the LDF and a number of saved policies in the Local Plan
• Local Development Scheme timetable for preparing LDF documents
• Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) - sets out how the Council will consult on LDF documents and planning applications
• LDF Evidence Base - the evidence gathered to support LDF documents
• Annual Monitoring Report - shows progress towards preparing the LDF and implementation of policies
• 5-Year Housing Supply - indicates the housing sites which the Council expects to be delivered over the next 5 years
