SCITT
The UCAS Application System for 18-19 will open on the 26th October
The SCITT programme is a full-time, one year course leading to the award of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and also offers the opportunity to study for a postgraduate certificate in education (PGCE) with Masters Level Credits with the University of Hull.

We have now received our allocation for 18-19 and will be accepting applications for:
Primary (Key Stage 1 and 2)
Secondary (Key Stage 3 and 4) following subjects only:
- Maths
- Chemistry
- MFL (French)
- History
- Geography
- Physics
- Biology
- English

The tuition fees for the SCITT programme are £9000. You are able to access student loans to pay fees in the same way as you would when completing a PGCE at a University.
Tax free bursaries are also available for some subjects and vary depending on the level of degree a trainee has. For further information regarding the financial support available to you please visit: https://getintoteaching.education.gov.uk/funding-and-salary

There are no bursaries for Secondary: Art, Drama and PE or Primary teacher training.
*In addition to the bursary, Maths trainees will also receive two additional early-career payments of £5k each in your third and fifth year of teaching.
