Redcar and Cleveland Teacher Training Partnership
is a partnership between Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council and schools within the Local Authority.
Our strength as a provider is based on the relationships we are able to establish and maintain with both our partnership schools and other departments of the Local Authority. These links enable us to offer a focused training programme based on a continuing
evaluation of trainee needs. All of the partnership schools are very experienced in supporting and developing the skills of trainee teachers.
At the end of the course successful trainees qualify with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
In the past employment opportunities have been excellent with
almost 100% of our trainees securing teaching positions by the end of training. Most trainees are employed by schools within Redcar and Cleveland. The GTP route is an excellent way of learning on the job you will become a valued team member involved in all aspects of school life over the year, seeing the highs and lows.
