Delivering the plan will involve a combination of public and private investment. Public sector investment will be required to carry out enabling works, which will then facilitate the private investment.

This section outlines some of the main funding streams available for Greater Eston regeneration projects as well as identifying our partners which, without their continuing support and investment, would mean that many of the Greater Eston projects could not happen.

The Tees Valley has been successful in securing both Housing Market Renewal Funding (HMRF) and Single Housing Investment Pot Funding (SHIP). Redcar & Cleveland have prioritised the use of HMRF and SHIP for intervention within South Bank older housing area. Further information on how this money will be allocated is available in the following sections.
