Health and Social Care Village

The Low Grange Health Village opened its doors to the public in April 2010.

Constructed on land adjacent to the Trunk Road and Normanby Road in South Bank and delivered by Ettrick Health in partnership with the Redcar and Cleveland Primary Care Trust and Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council, the new health village incorporates:
  • GP practises from the Greater Eston area
  • Greater Eston Integrated health and social care team
  • Dental and Ophthalmology service
  • Lloyds Pharmacy
  • New South Bank Library
  • A One-Stop-Shop for all your Council services

Further details of the health facilities on offer, including contact details, are available on the NHS website.

Outline planning approval has been granted for a second phase of development at the rear of the site and will see the creation of a Care Village which could incorporate a mix of residential accommodation for older people, interim/respite care, day activities and housing with care for older people.

A photo diary of the development can be viewed here.
