In November 2008 a 40 day borough-wide consultation branded Love-it-Hate-it was launched out to find out what the public think of where they live, work and play. The consultation involved a mobile exhibition unit touring the borough, a stakeholder event at Gisborough Hall and a number of fixed events including a number at Golden Boy Green in South Bank for residents, young people, community groups and partners of Greater Eston.
