Sure Start Redcar Coast & Dormanstown offers opportunities for children aged 0-5 years and their families in the Coatham, Dormanstown and Zetland Wards. We offer a range of fun family activities, parent/carer training courses, sessional care, advice and information sessions and much more!
Rainbow Lane Sure Start Centre opened on 1st October 2004 and includes, an outdoor play area, parents rooms, training room and staff offices. This facility is based in the Coatham Ward and is a purpose built community facility.
Dormanstown Children's Centre opened in February 2004 and includes fantastic outdoor area, Beachside Bistro, family room, training room, consultation room, creche facilities and office accommodation. In April 2007 the Neighbourhood Police Team also started working from the Children's Centre offering local surgeries, advice and community policing.
