Welcome to Sure Start Grangetown and South Bank Children's Centre web site. We hope you will find all of the information useful and will pass it on to others.

Sure Start Grangetown and South Bank Children's Centre support young children and their families who live in the areas of Grangetown, South Bank, Whale Hill, Lackenby, Lazenby Teesville, Eston Normanby and Bankfields. The aim of the programme is to enhance the life opportunities for families by improving their ability to learn, improving their health, and strengthening families and communities, and also supporting the Every Child Matters objectives.

We currently deliver services from various venues across our Sure Start area, this means that the programme is within easy reach of parents and children in the local community.

Sure Start Grangetown and South Bank have a wide range of capital build projects across our area. We have Grangetown Children's Centre adjacent to Grangetown Youth and Community Centre on Grange Farm Road, Grangetown. We have Sure Start Caedmon Centre attached to Caedmon Primary School. We have a wonderful children's soft play area located in Grangetown Library. Our new Children's Centres are located in Bankfields Primary School and within Top Tots Day Nursery adjacent to South Bank Primary School. These developments have enabled our programme to offer a wide range of excellent services from purpose built facilities in order to support parents and their children.
