| Details: | Could you foster? - Do you want a chance to help a child or young person succeed in life? - Do you have a spare room? - Could you be part of a team with social workers, teachers, health professionals and others, to help children and young people achieve their best? - Are you willing to develop your skills and gain qualifications? - Are you a non-smoker? If you can answer yes to all of these questions then Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council needs you to help us to care for children and young people who aren’t able to live with their families. It doesn’t matter whether you are you married or single, home owner or tenant, employed or unemployed, male or female - we need foster carers right now who have space in their homes and their lives to care for a child. Foster Carers receive an allowance to cover the costs of looking after a child and, as Foster Carers develop skills and experience, there are chances to progress and receive additional payments.
