Redcar Christmas lights switch on

Christmas LightsFrom 4pm the stage will be filled with entertainment from all corners of the borough. 100% home grown-talent deliver entertainment from local choirs, school children, young performers. Throughout the day Santa's Sea Side Grotto will be open in front of the main Christmas tree on the high street along with Christmas Log Cabins, a Christmas market from 10am to 7:30pm, children’s entertainment, rides and Disney characters.

Kirkleatham Supporting Zoe’s Baby Hospice The Boundary 500 Motorcycle Group Annual Motorcycle Santa Ride starts at 11.30am from Thornaby Town Centre, Cleveland and travels under police escort through Stockton, Middlesbrough and Redcar before finishing at Kirkleatham Hall, Redcar.

Guisborough Town Christmas Festival

Christmas Story with Carmen Thompson in the Skylounge at Redcar Beacon

BeaconBilly Peewit and Tyra the Viking save Christmas from a salty end with a little help from a storm-pup. The story is 8 minutes long, each child will have the chance to make a story character to take home. Carmen is an award winning writer and poet. Her work is inspired by life as a fisherman’s daughter growing up in Redcar.

Frozen Pantomime

Frozen PantomimeFrozen pantomime is coming to Redcar High Street on Saturday, December 5. The free to watch pantomime which takes place at the King Edward VII clock, is part of a Christmas fun day to support and raise awareness of Small Business Saturday. In addition to the pantomime, there will also be children's fairground rides, Santa's Grotto, Christmas Market, face painting and Santa's furry friends, including ponies and donkeys.
