As from 30 March 2006 Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council  are not responsible for processing applications for Student Support. This is because The Department for Education and Skills is running a pilot scheme to assess the possibility of processing all applications from one central point for the whole country. This Authority is part of the pilot scheme.
